On the evening of May 17, The Tennessean and The Commercial Appeal reported that legislators are considering a special legislative session to take up a new effort to pass a statewide anti-transgender bathroom discrimination law. After the backlash we are already facing over the counseling discrimination law, you want to waste my tax money to consider another discriminatory law? Have you seen how bad North Carolina is doing?

Stop wasting time and money on an issue SCOTUS is going to shoot down in the end anyway.

Tennessee needs neither the discriminatory legislation, nor the cost to tax payers for legislators to do something that need not be done.

Legalized discrimination is never right. Also, no statistics [none] support the paranoid concept that children are in danger because someone who doesn’t look right to you is in a bathroom you don’t want them to be in. Swallow your fear and act like adults.
