No special legislative session for bathroom discrimination!

On the evening of May 17, The Tennessean and The Commercial Appeal reported that legislators are considering a special legislative session to take up a new effort to pass a statewide anti-transgender bathroom discrimination law. the proposed bill doesnt ‘protect’ anyone. kids are more at risk at with a youth councilor than by being attacked by a transgender individual. the bill is blatant discrimination that will only cost our state money and prestige.

It’s been going on for years. Trans use what sex they look to be. Let it be. We are turning into a more diverse country. I waited over 30 years to get married. My last life partner was a 20 year relationship. He died in 2009 and I had to get all of his family members(10) to sign of so I could cremate him. My new husband and I can now do what Hetrosexual couples can do.

Do you think these actions will attract the kind of employers and jobs we want in Tennessee? This legislature is out of control and Tennessee citizens will have to pay for that.

Say no to anti-transgender bathroom bill. Such a bill would be a disaster for Tennessee financially and morally. NO ANTI-TRANSGENDER BATHROOM BILL!!
