I am working towards my masters in counseling in NJ and I feel very strongly that this bill goes against everything that a counselor is supposed to embody. The point of counseling is to have a safe place free of judgment to go. Also, the fact that the American Counseling Association is urging you to veto should mean something to you. The very basis of this bill goes against the code of ethics we are taught.

I asked Governor Haslam to veto HB1840, the counseling discrimination bill

Take a minute to contact Governor Bill Haslam by phone message or on Twitter and then let us know you did it using this form.  Let's get to 500 or more!

I called or Tweeted Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and urged him to veto HB1840, the counseling discrimination bill.  I'm asking you to do the same this week.
