Municipal Elections 2023

Many cities will hold elections in 2023. To find a calendar of these elections, go to this link at the Secretary of State's website. TEP plans to survey candidates in Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis. Presentation of candidate answers does not constitute endorsement of their campaigns or their positions.

MEMPHIS

To find basic information on October 5 Memphis municipal election, go to this link from the Shelby County Election Commission. We are surveying candidates for Mayor and City Council. Candidates are listed in the order in which they respond for their particular office. We are grateful to OUTMemphis, Tennessee Advocates for Planned Parenthood, Love Doesn't Hurt, Mid-South Pride, MidSouth LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations for helping shape the questions.
