Learn more about us at GlendaleUMC.org.

    We are inclusive + affirming.

You will find a safe space for ALL people to grow deeper in your faith or even begin your faith journey – no matter the color of your skin, who you love, or how you identify – with no barriers to serving at any level here at Glendale. We are intentional in our mission to create safer communities for our LGBTQ+ siblings through being intentionally involved at area Pride events and, more importantly, support the work of Nashville LaunchPad, The Oasis Center and other life changing (+ saving) organizations who make a difference in peoples’ lives each day.

What is worship + the community like?

People check out Glendale for the first time every week in worship @ 10am. You will experience a laid back atmosphere, a message of hope + love, upbeat music and people with diverse faith journeys – old and young, raised in the church, new to church, those from other denominations and faith traditions to some who question it all – you name it. All are welcome at Glendale. #YallMeansAll

We are intentionally accessible for all.

We continue to make our building and services more accessible. We have recently installed a new power-operated door off of the parking lot + added live ASL interpretation during worship. As United Methodists, the communion table is open to all – we use grape juice (instead of wine) and provide a gluten free option.

What if I’m not a Christian?

Not a problem. Bring your questions + doubts with you. And really, it is safe to assume that there are others already within our community who have some of those same questions + doubts that you do. You’ll find a safe space to explore those alongside us. Come just as you are to Glendale – no exceptions and no exclusions.
