Celebrate 12 Years of TEP
Help us celebrate 12 years of the Tennessee Equality Project with YOUR tax deductible investment in the work of advancing equality. We've seen so many gains over the years and yet the attacks are intensifying against Tennessee's LGBT community. Your support fuels the fight and we are grateful for your contribution!

Joanne Hall signed Defend Diversity at UT-Knoxville: Veto SB1912 2016-04-26 08:43:13 -0500Every day I run into people who, because of minority status, are held back by societal barriers of white supremacy and sexism. It is so destructive of human potential. The minorities and women especially at UTK need to feel safe on campus, and their numbers need to be representative of the population. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion was serving the University well. This is a grave overreaction to fears of those who are “different” from the legislators. Please veto this bill, Governor Hallam. Someone must be the adult in the room here.
Thank youDefend Diversity at UT-Knoxville: Veto SB1912
