Please veto this hateful legislation as the governors of South Dakota and Georgia did. For Mississippi and North Carolina whose governors signed similar legislation, those states are already losing MILLIONS of dollars in revenue because of canceled public events, huge concerts, and large employer expansions in the state like PayPal and Deustche Bank. Tennessee does NOT need to be known as a hateful or HOSTILE work environment, nor should TN risk losing hundreds of jobs to other states, all in just WEEKS after the bill is signs like North Carolina and Mississippi have lost. I urge you to VETO the legislation not only because of potential lost revenue and jobs to the state, but because a bill which singles out ANY group of citizens for discrimination is plainly un-American, and has no place in Tennessee law. Thus, it’s also just the RIGHT THING TO DO!

    Respectfully,

Ianto, Marquess of Anglesey, of the United Kingdom

Earl of Uxbridge, of Great Britain

Baron Paget, de Beaudesert of England

    2nd Baron Queensborough, GBE

Baronet of Plas Newydd, of Ireland

The “bathroom bill” is horrendously cruel and opens trans and non-gender conforming citizens to bullying , harassment, beatings and embarrassment . It is unconstitutional and you must veto it. It does no good to anyone and makes it much more difficult for some citizens to live their lives peacefully and productively.

There should be no regulations on our behaviors solely based on our genitals. My Transgender brothers and sisters owe nothing to the government for who they are or who they have been biologically.

Legislative reasoning of gender issues needs to catch up to the facts presented by science. Some Americans just don’t fit into the easy categories we have created for ourselves.
