Biography:  Christopher E. Harris, M.D. is Assistant Professor of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Vanderbilt University where he also serves as Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratory and the Cystic Fibrosis Center. Chris received the M.D. from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He is the past president of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and the recipient of many grants in his field. A frequent speaker on health and advocacy issues, he has testified before the United States Senate on the issue of marriage equality. The father of one, Chris is a native of Chicago.
